How to reach us
Guests residing at the Bed and Breakfast
Vacanze a Roma can choose from various means
of transport. On arriving at either Fiumicino or Ciampino
Airport travellers may wish to jump in a taxi after
a long journey. Fiumicino’s Leonardo Da Vinci
Airport is around 35 kilometres from the Vacanze
a Roma Bed and Breakfast while Ciampino is
about 22 kilometres. Remember there are fixed fares
for all taxi journeys into the city inside the Aurelian
Walls. The fixed fare from Fiumicino is €40 and
from Ciampino it’s €30 at the time of writing,
inclusive of up to four passengers and luggage. There
are more prudent ways of arriving at the B&B.
From Fiumicino Airport Vacanze
a Roma guests can take a local train to Trastevere
train station which is very close to the bed
and breakfast. These trains depart every 15
minutes. There is also a Leonardo Express service operated
by Trenitalia which runs to Termini train station.
Ciampino Airport doesn’t have
rail transport but there are numerous direct bus connections
to Rome’s Termini Station and to the local Anagnina
metro station nearby. There are coach operators running
direct services to Termini. COTRAL operates buses outside
the airport terminal taking travellers to Anagnina metro.
This journey lasts about 30 minutes.
It is also possible to hire a car from
both airports.
The Vacanze a Roma guest house
is situated at Piazzale della Radio between Viale Marconi
and Via Portuense. Both these roads are well served
by the Rome bus service. From Stazione Termini or Stazione
Marconi take bus number 170. The San Paulo Basilica
is a 15 minute walk away from the Vacanze a
Roma Bed and Breakfast.
Trastevere train station is 100 metres
away on foot. Trains run regularly to and from Stazione
Termini and Fiumicino Airport. |
